The open space across from our home is a delight to observe as the seasons change. Birds of all kinds migrate back and forth to the open fields and cottonwood trees, and the canal which feeds a large wetland northeast of us. Eagles, blue herons, egrets, swallows, hawks, and numerous other birds visit this habitat.
